German-speaking Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist you will be part of our payroll team dedicated to Nike Western Europe & Central Eastern Europe as well as our Affiliate brands. Your main focus will be to support German speaking countries.

In this role your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Execute work assignments to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely;
  • Participate in European payrolls, specifically for Germany and other German language speaking countries;
  • Responsible for data collection and time management administration;
  • Accurate documentation of call inquiry and resolution using case management tools;
  • Maintain tasks statistics with accuracy to ensure credible metrics are reported;
  • Ensure data quality and compliance among systems;
  • Responsible for knowledge transfer among functional teams, coordinating best practice sharing across territories;
  • Complete special projects as assigned;

Profile

  • A degree (Bachelor/Master) in HR, Finance, Business, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
  • You need to have a solid experience of payroll processing using in-house payroll systems (1-3 years at least).
  • Technical skills: Proficiency using MS Excel or Access to mine large data volumes.
  • SAP preferred.
  • You must have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in order to convey messages to different levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details are crucial.
  • Fluency in English and German, written and verbal, is required.
