SENIOR LOCAL BRAND MANAGER (GERMAN) - BETSSON.COM

We are now looking for a German speaking Senior Local Brand Manager to be responsible for our flagship brand Betsson.com and one of our most expansive and important markets. The purpose of this role is to grow the business in the German market by generating new depositing customers, maximizing the number of active players (both new and existing), contributing to increase revenues both in the short and the long term. In this role, you will will ensure that brand plans and central campaigns are executed in an appropriate manner. You will work closely with different acquisition managers such as Affiliates, SEO and Digital Media, with the local brand managers of other markets and also with the Commercial organization. You will plan, execute, evaluate and continuously improve our global and local promotions and other marketing campaigns across all marketing channels. You will report to the Global Brand Manager for Betsson.com brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Generating new customers, and supporting the Business Team in taking care of our existing customers, in coordination with the Global Brand Manager
  • Securing a smooth working relationship with internal and external partners
  • Building the brand according to the centrally established brand platform
  • Execution and coordination of all marketing activities for the German market
  • Making sure the content on our local web sections are up to standard when it comes to local copy, visuals and promotions
  • Evaluation of media activities to track the effect of the different investments
  • Being on top of the local business and making sure that promotions are competitive, odds are competitive, etc

Further to the above, we believe you have the passion for marketing with leadership experience from the German environment. You have a deeper understanding for general business literacy and achieving challenging targets is what drives you. You are a strong team player who thrives in an informal corporate culture and drives initiatives a long side with a follow-through track record.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience from a similar role
  • Local knowledge of the German market and the main target group is crucial
  • Experience of the German landscape regarding media purchasing and agency management is needed
  • Experience from the gambling industry
  • Solid project management and marketing skills
The ideal person for this role is result orientated and has strong analytical skills. You are proactive, driven and have a positive can do attitude. You are energized by a rapidly changing environment and welcome the unexpected challenge. You have strong internet marketing competencies and a solid understanding for online business models. Further to the above we believe that your market knowledge and language skills are absolute key, we would expect you to be fluent in German and English, both verbally and in writing, and used to communicating in international business. Ability to travel abroad is required, mainly to Malta.
