Account Manager -German Speaking


As a German speaking Social Account Manager, you will fulfil an important role within the execution team. This role is an integrated Account-/ and Project Management role. You will be responsible for managing multiple large scale campaigns for our top German clients, and are able to keep many balls in the air. 

You will manage several project teams during campaign execution, consisting of specialists such as Influencer Managers, Designers, and Digital Marketers. Some of your projects will require you to work and align with different departments and teams within MM all over the word. In addition, you have the aptitude to lead by example and drive growth on your key accounts. You are responsible for planning and budget management of all campaigns whilst keeping our clients happy.

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for several International key accounts at the same time;
  • Responsible for the execution, management and quality control of multiple campaigns;
  • Lead the project team and mentor mid-level and junior team members;
  • Show clear leadership competencies;
  • Review campaign performance and ensure to achieve the set KPIs;
  • Ensure optimal communication within the project teams at all stages of the campaign;
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of internal processes and efficiencies across teams and project team members;
  • Contribute to the production of campaign assets and participate in on-set productions;
  • Build strong relationships with clients;
  • Be responsible for the financial requirements of your running campaigns;
  • See growth opportunities on the accounts and support developing strategic proposals with the Growth team.
  • Additional skills:

  • A minimum of 3+ years work experience as an Account Manager at a Marketing or Advertising agency in a creative, dynamic and digital environment;
  • Affinity with digital marketing/advertising and preferably some experience in influencer marketing and/or social media marketing;
  • Experience in managing top clients, large budgets (1M+) and global campaigns;
  • Strong competencies in project and account management, planning and organization;
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills and high levels of accuracy;
  • Strong with driving operational excellence, and work most effectively;
  • Strong hands-on and can-do mentality, a personality who is able to work autonomously and within a team;
  • Fluent in German and English.
