Job Description

As an Accountant / Data Validation specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You'll validate transactions, prepare files for system uploads, reconcile invoices, and collaborate to deliver complete balance sheets for tax filing.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3-5 years of relevant German accounting experience
• Proficient in DATEV and/or ODOO
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable in customer-facing roles

Your Daily Tasks

• Enter and validate financial transactions manually
• Download and process CSV bank files for system upload
• Map data according to SKR 03/04 chart of accounts
• Reconcile invoices and manage backdated entries
• Maintain financial records using accounting tools
• Validate uncategorized transactions and assign classifications
• Review and complete task checklists and "to-dos" in the system
• Prepare year-end financial reports and E-Bilanz
• Finalize balance sheets for tax filing and reduce advisory costs
