Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.

We are looking for:
AP Accounting Expert with German

Your future role:

• Acting as the primary resource for less experienced team members by offering clear guidance on company policies and operational procedures, and providing on-the-job training when needed,
• Leading complex client meetings as the subject matter expert, addressing intricate accounts payable issues, and ensuring swift resolution of escalated client concerns,
• Compiling and distributing detailed, periodic reports on accounts payable performance, and generating AP metrics and analytics for management's decision-making,
• Managing the execution of procedural updates, overseeing the rollout and communication of operational changes within the team,
• Identifying, proposing, and facilitating the implementation of process improvements to enhance quality, drive efficiency, and standardize accounts payable practices,
• Developing and nurturing strong client relationships to ensure timely invoice processing, seamless payment transactions, and proactive issue resolution.

Apply if you have:

• Professional working proficiency in English and German, with proven ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting,
• Extensive expertise in accounts payable, with at least 4-5 years of experience in complex AP accounting and strong operational knowledge in both IFRS and/or US GAAP frameworks,
• Demonstrated experience with leading accounting software platforms and ERP systems for transaction processing and financial record maintenance, such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics,
• Excellent communication, presentation, and feedback skills, especially for leading quality calls and collaborating effectively within a global environment,
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver under direct client supervision, even on client premises,
• Results and solution-oriented mindset, coupled with a track record of identifying and implementing improvements in AP processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience in maintaining external accounting for a variety of clients,
• ACCA or any other accounting certificate.
