Associate People Services Specialist - German speaking (HR Specialist)

We are excited to hire a new Associate people services specialist to join our growing, global Human Resources team! This role will report into the People Services Manager, EMEA and will provide general operational HR support to Clarivate for several of our EMEA locations, particularly Austria, Germany & Sweden.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments...
  • Bachelor's degree with a specific Human Resources, Business, or related field focus
  • 1 + years of experience working in an administrative role.
  • Fluent in English and German

It would be great if you also had...
  • 1+ years of general HR experience.
  • Previous experience of supporting Austria, Germany & Sweden for HR support.

What will you be doing in this role?...
  • Supporting the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring all relevant paperwork is issued, returned in a timely manner. Ensuring that all relevant trackers are updated, and background checks are completed as required.
  • Preparing candidate offer letters, employment contracts and job change documentation as required.
  • Providing tier 1 support to all colleague queries relating to on boarding, off-boarding, as well as company policies and processes and/or escalating to People Services Manager.
  • Responding to colleague questions and queries assigned through HR Help (our case management system).
  • Partnering with Data management team to ensure all colleague changes and paperwork are updated and filed accordingly in our HRIS system.
  • Working closely with other Centres of Excellence (COEs) on any absence cases that may need follow up / escalation to another Service teams.
  • Managing benefit administration for on-boarding and off-boarding of colleagues as required.
  • Managing the monthly payroll administration activities.
  • Supporting the administration of Time Tracking system in the respective countries.
  • Ensures adherence to policy, procedure, and process.
  • Manages employee data in accordance with IT and HR security and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provides excellent customer service to colleagues, managers, and HR team members.
  • Participating in ad-hoc HR projects and tasks as required. Work closely with members of the wider HR Team to ensure that transactions and queries are completed.

About the Team

You'll be reporting to the People Services Manager, EMEA based out of Barcelona., You'll be joining a professional, dynamic, multicultural and face paced team of six People Service Specialists spread across the EMEA region, the team is pivotal in the overall HR organisation and in the delivering of a high-end service to our colleagues.

Hours of Work

This role is a hybrid position working 2-3 days in our Barcelona office.
