Job Role

As a Developer in one of our agile teams, you will collaborate closely with fellow developers in Romania and Germany, as well as business analysts. Our current mission involves decommissioning legacy mainframe applications and developing new applications to retain essential functionalities.

What will you do

You are responsible for new development and run of business applications for sales partner management or commissions calculations for tied agents or brokers for Allianz in Germany.
Main focus is backend (back processes, interfaces, commissions calculations). Some application parts have an Angular user interface, frontend skills are optional.

You bring

• Senior Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud backend development.
• Ability to work independently and with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Expertise in JAVA (Spring Boot) and IntelliJ.
• Proficiency in Jenkins, Git/GitHub, SQL/Postgres, and DbVisualizer.

You have

• Fluency in German and English.
• Ability to work independently and with a solution-oriented mindset.
  Optional:
• Experience with Angular / Allianz NDBX for frontend development.
• Familiarity with Allianz Future Cloud Platform and Allianz-specific knowledge.
• Proficiency in Spring Batch and migration or creation of batch processes (mainframe to cloud).
• AWS knowledge, including S3, EC2, Lambda, EKS, DynamoDb, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Linux Bash Scripting, and testing (including E2E regression testing with API mocking).
• Linux Bash Scripting.
