Compliance Assurance Analyst to join our Global Compliance Assurance Team. Reporting to Compliance Assurance Team Leader, you will be working in the Compliance Assurance Team in Krakow and closely collaborating with Compliance Teams across the world. You will be involved in various areas of Compliance across the business (including, but not limited to marketing, client services, sales, product design and appropriateness, client money, client reporting, governance, trading and execution, employee training and competence, outsourcing and third parties).
This role is opened for a fixed term contract (12 months) What will you do:- Compliance monitoring of various business lines/functions, evaluation of findings and follow up for recommendations for change
- Ownership and execution of high-risk business areas substantive deep dives
- Monitoring the Group's compliance with relevant regulatory obligations, including the conduct of our staff and adherence to appropriate process and policies
- Ownership and management of Compliance related projects
- Contribute to Compliance Assurance processes by identifying opportunities for improvements, assisting in the development and implementation of necessary ad hoc business changes whether regulatory or business driven
- Being responsible for information circulation between Central Compliance Assurance Team and Local Offices (passing feedback regarding significant compliance matters that require their attention and action)
- Responsibility for any additional duties as assigned
- Active participation in knowledge sharing across the team (including training)
- Building and developing strong relationships with Local Officers, Business process owners and Internal Audit

Candidate profile:- 2-3 years of experience in Compliance/Audit/Internal Audi/Risk (acquired in FinTech or financial institution)
- Good understanding of financial markets and products
- Understanding of FCA regulations and wider regulatory landscape is an advantage
- Inquisitive and analytical approach to problem solving and ability to draw conclusions
- Fluency in both verbal and written English is an essential requirement; knowledge of second language: Italian, German or Chinese is required
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Considered, diplomatic approach with excellent relationship building and communication skills while working with the team, line manager, business and external parties
- Voices sensible and well thought out opinions and contributes towards department discussions and decisions
- Self-motivated team player who is diligent, organized, flexible, open to change and has an attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
