At Nielsen, your best work powers our future.About the Role:We are looking for a Data Mapping Editor for the German market who has German language skills. In this full-time position from Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for efficiently processing and curating video catalogues (VOD/OVD). Your role will involve accurately processing, updating, and matching VOD/OVD catalogues from different content providers. You will also contribute to maintaining and improving the Gracenote database, which powers our consumer product and enhances the end-user experience. You will report to Ingest Metadata Production Team Leaders who oversee daily operations specific to the market.Key Responsibilities:- Acquire, normalize, and enhance entertainment metadata (OVD/VOD catalogues) from various content providers.- Process and manipulate data to accurately ingest into in-house software tools.- Pay high attention to detail to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely content in the Gracenote database.- Investigate, query, and confirm questionable programming content, if needed.- Run quality and assurance checks through systematic reports on the live database.- Analyze and recommend process improvements.- Contribute to team and department projects as assigned.- Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:- Proficient knowledge of the German language (B2 level or higher).- Experience using computer software and databases, with excellent keyboarding skills.- Data entry experience using content management systems is beneficial.- Strong desire to work within a team, with excellent communication skills.- Ability to work accurately under deadlines.- Good knowledge of television, movies, and VOD programming is a plus, especially in the market language.How to Apply:If you are interested in being part of our mission-critical team and on the leading edge of global entertainment technology, please contact us today!
