The
Engineering Technician is part of Hach's newly formed Global Operations group and involves close collaboration with our Germany-based Supplier Management & Engineering teams that work with suppliers providing components and parts critical to our product manufacturing.
In this hybrid role (based at home with 2-3 days a week in our Budapest office) you'll submit, process, track, and manage through to approval all project engineering documentation relating to various Change Requests/Orders and Product Change Notifications (2D drawings, 3D models, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written instructions etc).
The Engineering Technician will perform any documentation modifications and design changes as advised by our engineering team and supports Asset Management activities by tracking and maintaining accurate records of all tooling, molds, fixtures and equipment that require life control.

The Ideal Candidate- Education to Matura or above, and relevant experience within a technical documentation / engineering / manufacturing process or systems environment, plus a keenness to learn
- Fluent English, advanced German (B2 or above) and at least intermediate Hungarian
- A working knowledge of some of the following would be beneficial: engineering drawings, ERP, Electronic Document Management Systems, 3D CAD programs, Bill of Materials
- Strong collaboration in a dynamic engineering environment, with an extreme attention to detail and accuracy, strong planning and organizing skills, and able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
