General Ledger Accountant with English and/or German(f/m/d)

For our Global Business Services Center in Sofia, we are looking for a motivated specialist who will ensure accurate financial records, streamline ERP workflows, and support timely month- and year-end closes to join our team in the role of General Ledger Accountant with English and/or German.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle daily accounting transactions and general ledger processes, including reconciliations and balance control
• Manage and oversee general ledger accounts, such as accruals, provisions, and month-end closing entries
• Provide general ledger support for assigned entities, including contract evaluation and updates
• Prepare fiscal month-end accruals, corresponding manual journals, and group reporting reviews
• Execute financial closing procedures across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a similar position - at least 4 years
• Good level of English and German - B2
• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of accounting, controlling and reporting standards /IFRS 16/
• Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP) - will be a plus
