We empower you to be your best, as it powers our future.About the Role:Gracenote, a leading entertainment data and technology provider, is seeking a German Editor. Gracenote helps people find, discover, and connect with the entertainment they love. As a German Editor, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our media databases and content, particularly in the audiovisual field. We are looking for someone who is passionate about movies and TV shows, familiar with TV listings, and knowledgeable about the media industry. Your main responsibility will be to manipulate and enhance entertainment information to create top content for Gracenote's media database.Responsibilities:- Gather and record accurate information about programs and TV listings from various German channels and top content providers.- Verify program content by consulting program information providers and others.- Consolidate data and update databases with new program information.- Edit and maintain TV listings information, as well as curate information on movies and shows.- Ensure the accuracy of editorial content, program information, and timely updates for in-house personnel.- Analyze and recommend solutions for editorial, communication, and technical needs.- Act as a customer service representative for product content and editorial policies.- Perform other assigned duties.Requirements/Qualifications:- Must be a native or near-native German speaker with excellent written and verbal skills.- Ability to start as soon as possible is highly desirable.- Strong writing, grammar, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.- Preferably have a background in journalism, copywriting, or translation.- Good knowledge of German television and VOD programming, and a passion for movies.- Attention to detail and a focus on quality.- Ability to work accurately under deadlines, including outside regular business hours.- Proficiency in using Windows and other computer software, databases, and excellent keyboarding skills.About Nielsen:Nielsen Global Media is a trusted source of unbiased and reliable data about what people watch and listen to.
