German-Speaking Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + excellent benefits

About the Company

Our client is a leading global organisation with a strong presence across Europe, committed to innovation, collaboration, and excellence. With a well-established finance team based in Uxbridge, they are seeking a talented German-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist to join their high-performing shared service function.
The Role

As a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end invoice process for the German entity. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills in both English and German, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.They will however consider fluent German speakers who have worked in different finance roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Manage and process payment runs in multiple currencies
• Handle queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders (in both English and German)
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function

About You

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
• Strong understanding of invoice processing and reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively in an international team
• SAP or ERP system experience is an advantage
