Title: Help Desk Representative - German Speaker

Location: Belgrade or Nis (SRB)

Definition:

This is the lowest tier in a multi-tier support system and is the customer interfacing support level, to which the customer calls to report software and hardware-related issues and questions. First-Level Support The first group of agents to attempt to provide customers with needed information or to resolve their problems. First-level support groups are generally staffed by agents with the intermedia level of technical background who are expected to resolve a high percentage of common problems using known solutions to known problems. This group is a single point of contact and enters requests and incidents into the system/ or per telephone call/ Email and, if not resolved, escalated to the next level of support. The main responsibilities of this role are to deal with front line issues or inquiries raised by users.

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Works directly with customers to resolves recurring or standard problems
  • Works directly with NCR and 3rd party Vendor technicians to resolve HW or SW problems
  • Provides daily and weekly incident tracking sheets to report on the performance
  • Reviews incident history to determine recurring faults
  • Provides technical support and assistance to clients and businesses regarding hardware and software issues
  • Provides support with installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, as well as fixing any issue related to the equipment that may come up on a daily basis
  • Updates work orders and provide status information • Assigns and distributes workload to meet SLA's
  • May respond to escalated calls
  • Participates in product set or customer base training
  • May implement remote fixes relying on the guided search for diagnosis across multiple products
  • Applies troubleshooting checklists


Basic Qualifications
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Basic PC literacy; Keyboard proficiency; Understanding of Windows-based applications/tools
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Relationship building skills; Excellent communication skills, verbal and written as well as listening skills
  • High school diploma
