About the role:

As Consultant in Implementation, you will be responsible for leading and managing client payroll consulting projects. You will provide expert advice to ensure efficient payroll management, regulatory compliance, and process optimization. You will be capable of configuring the payroll system or third-party components throughout all phases of the project in line with the specified project plan. Services are provided both remotely and on-site at the client's premises.

Which tasks can you expect?

• Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients.
• Understand clients' payroll needs, challenges, and long-term goals, and develop customized strategies.
• The goal is always to ensure a legally compliant payroll system that meets the client's needs and is suitable for the project.
• Provide necessary portions of project estimates/requirements to complete the project plan.
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure that clients' payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Provide team-oriented, cross-departmental support in resolving complex payroll issues.
• Handle complex payroll issues, discrepancies, and disputes.
• Continue to educate yourself on evolving payroll legislation and provide expert compliance advice.

What do you have to offer?

• Experience in payroll accounting or a related field
• Good knowledge ofpayroll, tax laws, and compliance.
• Technical understanding of payroll system configuration options
• Exceptional customer relationship management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in various payroll software and technology solutions - nice to have
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field (preferred), or completed vocational training with several years of experience in relevant fields.
