We are looking for a Project Manager to work on midsize enterprise and start-up software development projects in business domains such as fintech, transport and logistics, systems for management, and improvement of business processes.
In This Role You Will:
- Communicating with the customer and the related organisation units;
- Compiling the project specification by performing the initial analysis and simple high-level design tasks;
- Coordinating the information flow in the project team;
- Planning project milestones, tasks, resources;
- Assigning tasks to and coaching team members;
- Monitoring the project status and taking corrective actions, if necessary; reporting the changes in the plan;
- Managing project budget and risks;
- Ensuring that the project-related documentation and accounting is complete and up to date;
- Ensuring the completion and quality of the project according to the set goals;
- Identifying and obtaining any support and advice required for the management, planning, and control of the project;
- Giving status reports through the agreed reporting lines;
- Preparing a Lessons Learned report and compiling follow-on recommendations, if required;
- Carrying out change control and any required configuration management.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in software development projects as a project manager, business analyst, or another similar role.
- Knowledge of software development process.
- Knowledge of the procedures and requirements for design, development, integration, testing, deployment, operation, and maintenance of software products and systems.
- Competency in project planning and tracking tools.
- Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge.
- Higher education, preferably in the field of IT, Technology Management, Business Management, or similar.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in German is a strong advantage.
