Junior Travel Expenses Specialist with German

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of travel expenses and travel expense reports in accordance with applicable guidelines in relevant systems:
    • Self-responsible approval, reduction and denial of travel expenses.
    • Review of meal allowances with knowledge of time and country-specific requirements.
    • Plausibility checks for travel invoices.
  • Review, correcting and creating of mileage allowances.
  • Independent approval and processing of travel expenses for board members and management.
  • Supporting of internal customers around travel expenses with corresponding systems (Workday or SAP Concur, MS Teams, Jira ticketing system).
  • Launching and analyzing travel expense reports in Workday.
  • Technical exchange with upstream and downstream processes.
  • Customer focus and teamwork orientation.
  • Good knowledge of processing travel expenses in Germany.
  • Good knowledge of the tax and legal framework in the area of travel expenses in Germany.
  • German language skills on the level B1-B2.
  • MS Office skills (Excel, Word & Power Point), Workday skills are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Workday or SAP Concur will be an asset.
