Our organization is seeking a qualified and experienced Major Incident Manager. As the individual filling this important role, you will capably manage significant incidents, ensure system restoration, and minimize impact to clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring all parties remain informed during incidents. With your leadership flair, you will drive the coordination of action plans, system restoration, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Understanding of IT Management systems and ITSM concepts
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT service delivery role
- ITIL certification, or comparable, highly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Your key responsibilities will also include:
- Prompt response and resolution of major system incidents
- Upholding SLAs through incident management processes
- Facilitating and coordinating technical teams to resolve incidents
- Identifying and negotiating with stakeholders during major incidents
- Preparation and delivery of incident reports
- Continuous improvement of incident management processes
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English and German language (written/verbal) at a Business level.
Knowledge of the French language is an advantage.
