About the Role: As PTP/ Accounts Payable Senior Specialist with German language skills, you will be the focal and escalation point for vendors regarding Accounts Payables (AP) issues for all brands. Your role will involve handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, managing vendor interactions, and ensuring all relevant information is captured and shared with internal stakeholders. You will perform regular reviews of KPIs and SLAs, providing feedback on opportunities for improvement and driving systems implementation and standardization to enhance vendor satisfaction and process efficiency.
You will dive deep into chronic overdue accounts, propose and implement solutions, and ensure timely and accurate vendor statement reconciliations. Your ability to handle business correspondence and vendor escalations in both German and English will be crucial. Additionally, you will help develop standardized processes, participate in vendor visits, and act swiftly to resolve payment-related issues, thereby avoiding dunning and credit suspensions from vendors.
Collaboration with the Frontline team and other internal stakeholders will be essential as you work to resolve issues and fix structural process gaps. Flexibility to handle different products and brand portfolios will be important, as will your ability to manage payment rejections, facilitate urgent and ad hoc payments, and resolve supplier invoice and payment queries.
Who are we looking for: - Proficiency in German and English: Strong language skills for handling business correspondence, translations, and vendor escalations.
- Advanced Accounts Payable Expertise: Extensive knowledge of AP processes, including vendor statement reconciliations, KPI reviews, and systems implementation.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to dive deep into chronic overdue accounts, propose solutions, and enhance process efficiency.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing vendor interactions and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Capability to handle different products and brand portfolios, manage urgent and ad hoc payments, and develop standardized processes.
