Regional Marketing Manager (DACH region)

And this is our Regional Marketing Manager (DACH) role for idea generators, planning geniuses, and natural-born analysts.

Tasks in the role

  • We are looking for a marketing specialist with experience in planning and activating brand campaigns in the DACH market to join Semrush as its Regional Marketing Manager for DACH. This role reports directly to the Head of International Brand

  • You will be responsible for growing the Semrush brand and revenue in the DACH region (with Germany as your priority, and Austria and Switzerland as your secondary focus areas). Here are some of the main responsibilities we consider elementary

  • Develop and activate brand and communications campaigns in the market

  • Report on the results of each campaign

  • Develop our influencer and partnerships strategy in the region

  • Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders

  • Regularly analyze competitors and market trends to uncover new opportunities to grow our brand

  • Allocate budget and resources to the most efficient channels for the market

  • Monitor the market’s performance for core KPIs (i. E. Traffic, registrations, payments etc. )

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for brand and channel campaigns

Who we are looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience in a relevant role.

  • Native or fluent German speaker.

  • Demonstrable experience in launching brand and communication campaigns.

  • Deep understanding of the DACH landscape (marketing, commerce).

  • Great project management skills - demonstrable ability to create, plan and execute projects from start to finish and deliver measurable results.

  • Excellent communicator (i. E. Great at networking, able to present plans and proposals to internal stakeholders to get buy in).

  • Strategic thinking.

  • Goal oriented.

  • Experience managing external vendors and marketing agencies.

  • Proficient in English.

  • Experience with public speaking (i. E. Speaking at local events, being a guest on podcasts etc. )

  • Experience in organic search, paid search, or other marketing channel

  • Existing relations with influencers and brands in the market
