RetailBusiness Software Analyst with German, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, stability, and optimization of Goodyear's Retail Service systems. Acting as a second point of contact for Retail Service Agents, you'll bridge business needs with IT solutions, analyzing requirements, implementing enhancements, and ensuring that system functionality supports operational excellence.
Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive collaboration with IT and business teams will help drive process improvements, enhance user experience, and maintain system reliability across markets.
What You'll Do- Act as the second point of contact for Retail Service Agents, supporting issue and request handling.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business system requirements to identify solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Implement small enhancements and bug fixes, defining configuration changes and preparing programming specifications for IT Development teams.
- Support larger system enhancements and release implementations, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and scopes.
- Provide system-wide support and maintenance for complex business processes, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
- Recommend and document how IT technologies can best support Goodyear's business strategies, creating specifications in partnership with Business Process Architects.
- Write and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and configurations - serving as input for management reporting and training materials.
- Conduct end-to-end lifecycle testing (unit and integration) for all implemented processes, ensuring quality and system integrity.
- Respond to issues and collaborate with stakeholders to determine corrective actions and implement sustainable solutions.
- Continuously expand technical and process knowledge by staying updated on current technologies and participating in internal or external training sessions.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT, Business Systems, or a related field).
- Proven experience in business systems analysis, configuration, or process improvement.
- Strong understanding of system implementation and testing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
