Inviting applications for the role of RTR Financial Accounting Real Estate - Domain Trainee - German - Remote Poland

In this role, you will manage and oversee financial accounting processes related to real estate, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update real estate financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Perform monthly reconciliations of real estate accounts to the general ledger.

• Prepare and review financial statements related to real estate holdings.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for real estate assets.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies.

• Conduct periodic audits of real estate financial records and reconcile discrepancies.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to real estate transactions.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in real estate financial accounting.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Fluency in German and a strong command of English

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Relevant years of experience in RTR

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in real estate

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification

• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP related to real estate

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients

• Knowledge of additional languages
