Job DescriptionOur client is a leading bank in Germany, known as the second-largest by asset size and serves as the central institution for around 700 cooperative banks and their approximately 7,200 branch offices. We collaborate with our client to ensure the smooth operation of their SAP applications, enhancing their ability to manage corporate operations efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities- Ensure Smooth SAP Operations -> Ensure seamless functioning of SAP applications in corporate management. Handle malfunctions with expertise and coordinate with IT colleagues to resolve issues promptly, using SAP R/3, SAP S/4 HANA, ABAP, and ITIL frameworks.
- Active Project Participation -> Engage in projects aimed at advancing our applications, focusing on technical tests, transition management, and change coordination to enhance operational efficiency.
- Professional Consulting -> Provide expert advice to our specialist departments, addressing inquiries from customers and supporting project-based initiatives to meet client requirements.
- Continuous Improvement -> Identify and implement improvement opportunities to optimize applications continuously. This includes projects and minor adjustments aimed at process efficiency and enhanced application performance.
- Process Digitization and Automation -> Drive the digitization of processes and intelligently automate workflows to enhance operational capabilities and streamline job flows within the organization.
- Hybrid/Remote Team Integration -> Collaborate with the team effectively through a hybrid/remote model, ensuring cohesive teamwork and shared project goals.
QualificationsMust have:- Successful studies in computer science, business informatics, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP S/4 HANA, ABAP, job control, SAP FI, application monitoring, and ITIL.
- Training in the IT environment, such as an IT specialist (m/f/d).
- Persuasive personality with high initiative, strong analytical skills, and a process- and customer-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems efficiently.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German.
Nice to have:- Infrastructure-near application knowledge in SAP end-of-life systems.
- Knowledge of IT project management and Agile methodology.
- Experience collaborating with European and US customers.
