As a Service Center Senior Professional Tax Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and accurate assistance to clients and internal teams regarding tax-related inquiries and incidents.

• Analyse and evaluate tax and customs support requests, identify the root causes of issues and develop effective solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures and process improvements
• Empower colleagues with the knowledge to understand tax-related matters by providing educational resources, guides, and explanations as needed
• Possess knowledge of German tax regulations to accurately address inquiries and provide reliable solutions
• Interact with clients, colleagues and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
• Articulate tax-related information, guidance and solutions to both technical and non-technical individuals, fostering a clear understanding of complex tax matters
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of document tax processes
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports or tax returns for several countries
• Stay up-to-date with German tax regulations and improve your knowledge to ensure accurate and current support

• Completed university studies, ideally in economics or tax law
• At least 4 years of professional experience
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and processes
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in dealing with clients, as well as a solution-oriented, proactive approach to work
• Confident handling of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, ATC Suite (JIRA/Confluence)
• Problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
• High degree of personal responsibility, organizational skills and reliability, support-oriented
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on tax laws and software advancements

Things to know before departure:

• Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract: Unlimited
• Line of work: Consulting
• Language skills: confident German at C1 level and business-fluent English
• Other: a valid work permit
