About the Role:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical support incidents and requests.
  • Responsible for following correct governance and procedures for the transition of activities to the Service Desk.
  • Ensure that all incidents and requests are responded to within appropriate SLAs and KPIs.
  • Working with service desk tools and technologies, such as ITSM tools (ServiceNow), remote access, knowledge resources.
  • Identify potential process improvement initiatives and enhance and develop the process.
  • Writing procedural and/or support documentation, ensuring this is updated in knowledge and communicated to the team.
  • Ensure full adherence to escalation procedures in Incident, Problem & Change Management.
  • Undertake additional tasks when required e.g. training, monitoring.
  • Support and administration of the following:

• Account Administration - AD, Access & Security;
• Remote desktop support - Primarily Windows 10;
• Apple IOS Management - Mobile Device Management;
• Antivirus & Encryption Solutions - Sophos, BitLocker. Maintain a collaborative and productive working relationship with their peers.
  • Assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Relevant work experience including but not limited to software and computer troubleshooting experience; applications support, ability to read and understand technical manuals, documentation, and guides; excellent technical knowledge of computer hardware and software, including all current versions of Windows, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Candidates must possess good problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of supporting range of IT applications, platforms and technologies.
  • Good understanding of an ITIL compliant environment, and experience of ServiceNow for all aspects of this would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral communication.
  • Fluency in German, both written and oral communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening skills and ability to communicate accurately and effectively in person, over the telephone, through email and other business correspondence.
  • Proven capability to handle challenging situations, a positive attitude with passion and drive.
  • Shows aptitude, initiative and follow through, and has excellent customer service skills.
  • Typically requires a diploma or bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Computer related qualifications and certifications will be viewed favorably.
  • Proficiency in other European languages is desirable but not essential.

Monthly base salary for this position is from 2000 - 2360 EUR gross.
