Your mission: - Review, code, and record all business transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and bank accounts).
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).
- Perform account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
- Coordinate, clarify, and maintain general ledger (G/L) accounting.
- Prepare payment runs.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Serve as a contact person for accounting matters and represent your area of responsibility.
Your talent: - Completed commercial training as an accountant, tax clerk, certified accountant (m/f/d), or a similar commercial qualification.
- Excellent communication skills in both German (C1) and English (B2).
- 3+ years of experience in accounting; Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of relevant commercial and tax regulations (including accounting law, the German Commercial Code - HGB, and VAT law - UStG).
- Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of DATEV is an advantage.
- You work independently, responsibly, and with great attention to detail.
- You are a team player with strong communication skills.
