About the Role:As an Accounting Manager with German language skills, you will be responsible for the accurate completion of Books of Accounts for scoped Area entities, ensuring adherence to ERP and OneStream close schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. You will ensure the right documentation prior to book close, discuss and align one-offs and contentious accounting issues before signoff, and adhere to balance sheet review cycles with appropriate substantiation and reporting of exposure.
You will liaise with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) like Intercompany and Cash/bank to resolve entity accounting issues, perform controls attestation within the GRC Archer tool, and own the conduct of Statutory Audit for scoped entities along with Group Audit. Supporting other audits like Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, or any other audit initiated by different authorities will also be part of your role.
Driving adherence to SOPs, providing inputs for the development of SOPs for new business verticals, and translating organizational objectives into actions will be essential. You will manage a team of at least 10 members, ensuring coordination with the team and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
Who are we looking for- Proficiency in German and English: Strong language skills for handling business correspondence, translations, and vendor interactions.
- Leadership and Team Management: Experience in leading a team, managing accounting processes, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Advanced Accounting Expertise: Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and financial reporting.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse trends, resolve entity accounting issues, and improve process efficiency.
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing interactions with Centers of Excellence and internal stakeholders.
