Get a glimpse of our world You will join the Purchase Operations team, consisting of 12 Area Managers working closely together to secure the best purchasing conditions across Europe. The team collaborates daily with various departments such as Purchase Settlement, External Trading, Clinical Trial Sourcing, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Business Development. This is a highly interactive environment where knowledge sharing, coordination, and teamwork are essential.
Are you ready to embark on this journey with us? As an Associate Area Manager, you will support our Purchasers in managing and developing supplier relationships. You will work closely with Senior Purchasers and gain hands-on experience with market analysis, negotiations, and trade execution. Over time, you will take on your own supplier portfolio and play an active role in identifying new markets and trading opportunities.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Assisting in maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new supplier.
- Supporting negotiations and being responsible for target prices, order execution, and data updates.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying new product lines or volume opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal trading conditions.
- Contributing to the development of new and existing markets by identifying and opening new supplier channels.

What you bring: - Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience from a commercial, procurement, or trading environment is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations .
- Clear communicator with strong coordination abilities.
- A proactive, adaptable, and curious mindset - ready to respond to changing priorities and explore new opportunities.
- High attention to detail and reliable execution skill.
