Why This Role Is Right for YouAs a Card Dispute Specialist you'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Krakow. You'll play a critical role in ensuring fair, timely and compliant handling of disputed card transactions for customers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, you combine analytical precision, clear communication and expert knowledge of card-scheme regulations to resolve disputes efficiently while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
You will work closely with merchants and internal teams to investigate cases, apply scheme rules and help protect our customers from unauthorized or incorrect charges.
About Your Future RoleIn this position, you will:
- Manage cardholder disputes end-to-end
- Analyze transaction details
- Process Chargebacks and Representments
- Identify correct dispute reason codes
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Detect potential fraud indicators
- Collaborate with merchants and internal stakeholders
- Identify trends to improve internal processes and enhance customer experience
- Ensure accurate documentation

Essential Qualifications: - Fluency in German (C1 or native level) and excellent English communication skills
- 3+ years background in Payments, Banking, Finance or Fraud Operations
- Self-driven and proactive with strong prioritization skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Bonus Skills: - Knowledge of Scheme dispute regulations and compliance processes
- Strong decision-making skills
- Experience in leading training sessions & process improvements
- Hands-on experience with dispute platforms and case-management tools
