Contract Reviewer - Advanced German

Our Shared Services Center provides a broad area of services: finance and HR related, account and segment support, cockpit and reporting, sales and marketing campaigns, research and presentations, accelerators, customer experience management, data government, as well as other functions.

Primary Functions and Tasks:

This role involves the administration and execution of high-quality proposal reviews within a small, Romania-based team, working in close collaboration with RQM colleagues across multiple countries. The position requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to support firm-wide risk and quality initiatives.

Location: Sibiu and Bucharest

• Provide risk and quality management support for firm-wide.
• Maintain regular communication with risk and quality contacts; assist with their initiatives by preparing presentations, trainings, and participating in scheduled meetings.
• Deliver training sessions and 1:1 support to help firm-wide achieve its objectives.
• Perform report analysis using Excel to support business needs.

Proposal Review Desk Activities

• Monitor the Legal, Risk & Quality review desk and act promptly on incoming requests.
• Communicate with the business to clarify open questions, identify deadlines, and gather missing information.
• Review and evaluate documentation submitted by the business, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
• Validate the quality of information entered into the supporting IT systems.

Policy & Process Guidance

• Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on BearingPoint's policies and guidelines.
• Offer non-technical support related to the IT system used for proposal and contract reviews.
• Assist in updating policies, procedures, and documentation as required.
• Gather and organize data for internal reporting and similar activities.

Team Collaboration and Development

• Participate in regular team calls, share challenges, and contribute to identifying and implementing solutions.
• Be willing to learn and progressively take responsibility for reviewing English-language proposals and non-disclosure agreements (full training provided).

We are looking for:

Education & Languages

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Law.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Advanced proficiency with common IT tools, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, and MS Teams.
• Fast learner, able to quickly adapt to BearingPoint-specific IT systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and cooperative approach to collaborating with colleagues.
• Strong service orientation, with the ability to respond quickly and adapt to changing requests.
• High attention to detail; able to work accurately, carefully, and with precision.
