Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled
Contracts Specialist - German Speaking. In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical, end-to-end contractual and operational support to the Sales team, managing the full contract lifecycle from initiation to finalization. This is a pivotal role that creates capacity for the Sales team by expertly handling their diverse contractual needs. You will report directly to the Manager, DOC Support - Contracts, and will act as a dedicated subject matter expert and strategic thinker.
What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)In this role, you will:
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting and critically reviewing complex contractual documents like Master Services Agreements and Amendments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Resolve complex business and operational matters by strategically weighing customer requirements against internal company policies, striving to find optimal compromises while safeguarding company interests.
- Ensure all operational and business issues within contracts are thoroughly reviewed and approved by appropriate subject matter experts, senior management, and the Legal Department prior to finalization.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of three to five years of progressive contracts administration experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility and complexity.
- Mandatory fluency in English and German, with superior proficiency in both written and oral communication.
- Strong knowledge of standard contract provisions (e.g., liability, confidentiality, indemnity) with the proven ability to effectively educate and guide Sales teams.
- A three-year college degree and proven ability in strategic problem-solving and issue resolution, coupled with a strong customer service orientation and excellent organizational skills.
