About the Enterprise Business Development Manager MarketStar is looking for a seasoned sales professional to represent our client as they continue their successful expansion into the enterprise corporate space. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a strategic leader on a pivotal team at the forefront of the latest technology and work with one of the top three companies in the world.
As an Enterprise Business Development Manager for the DACH market, you will play a strategic role in driving enterprise pipeline growth. Working closely with field sales team, you will identify and develop high-value opportunities across enterprise organisations, engage senior decision makers, and help progress opportunities deep into the sales cycle.
This role is designed for a commercially & technically minded sales professional who is comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders, navigating complex organisations, and positioning technology solutions that address strategic business challenges.
Location: Hybrid, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office)
What Will You Do? Enterprise Pipeline Development - Identify, engage, and develop high-value enterprise opportunities across the DACH region
- Drive strategic pipeline generation aligned with enterprise growth objectives
- Partner closely with the Field Sales Representative to develop account strategies and opportunity plans
Strategic Prospecting & Account Development - Develop and execute targeted account-based prospecting strategies
- Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, and C-suite executives
- Identify organisational challenges and position relevant solutions
Consultative Sales Engagement - Conduct Discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and business priorities
- Articulate value propositions that connect technology solutions to business outcomes
- Support opportunities through deeper stages of the sales cycle in collaboration with the field sales team
Market & Customer Insights - Surface insights from the DACH market to inform messaging, positioning, and sales strategy
- Identify expansion opportunities across business solutions
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on customer needs and market trends
Internal Collaboration - Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and MarketStar leadership
- Contribute to strategic pipeline discussions and deal reviews
- Share best practices and insights with the broader sales organisation
What Will You Need to Succeed? - Native or fluent German and English
- 3-4 years experience in SaaS, technology, or enterprise sales environments
- Proven track record of generating enterprise pipeline and engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience prospecting into large organisations and navigating complex buying groups
- Strong consultative selling capabilities and problem-led sales approach
- Ability to articulate business value and build credibility with executive buyers
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools
- Highly motivated, strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen

The pay for this position is base salary per annum of €50,000 with an additional variable bonus component of €20,000. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
