Fixed Term, Part Time (7.33 hrs per week), Term Time (39 per year). Start Date 19th August

Salary: Point 6 of the Sixth Form Colleges Language Assistant's pay spine, currently £26,930 per annum (Pro- rata Actual Salary £6578.99)

The Role:

We are looking to recruit a German Language Assistant to coach and support a small group of German speaking students studying A level German. The role will include preparing students for the German oral exam and assisting them in developing their research themes into German society and culture. The role is part time and offers an excellent opportunity for a fluent German speaker or recent graduate of German who will be joining a team of language assistants in a curriculum area offering A Level German, French, Spanish and Italian.

We have been at the forefront of using technology within teaching and learning and are recognised as a Google Reference College and winner of a Curriculum Innovation Award for our work in delivering digital education. All students and teachers are issued with a Chromebook/laptop.
