German Language Instructor / Trainer

To support this, DataArt runs internal corporate language training programs aimed at helping colleagues effectively communicate with clients. As our client base in the DACH region continues to grow, the need for high-quality German language instruction is also increasing. We are seeking an experienced German language professional who can work with adult learners and support intercultural communication. This is a part-time, fully remote contract position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Business German / IT German classes for groups at B1-B2 levels
• Facilitate a speaking club and a grammar club
• Conduct internal assessments to evaluate colleagues' German communication skills
• Conduct German language proficiency interviews for candidates applying to DataArt, typically up to 5 interviews per week (usually 1-2)
• Assist colleagues with preparing demos, presentations, and proofreading documents in German
• Participate in monthly teachers' meetings (schedule to be discussed)

Requirements

• Degree in Germanistics, German Studies, or a related field with C1-level German proficiency or higher
• 7+ years of professional teaching experience
• Experience teaching online and strong command of digital tools (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage both small and large groups while ensuring engagement
• Ability to understand and follow corporate policies in a business-oriented environment
• English level: B1

• Grünes Diplom or experience living/studying/working in a German-speaking country
