ABOUT THE CLIENTOur client is a well-established international company in the financial services sector, recognized for its reliability, innovation, and customer focus. They operate across several European markets, offering a wide range of financial and mobility-related products. The organization places strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every interaction reflects their brand values.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Operational Activities within IT Operations include, among others:
Ensuring continuous monitoring of selected systems, such as:
- Monitoring the availability and error messages of IT systems and applications
- Monitoring services and transactions
- Monitoring certificates
- Monitoring job chains
- Monitoring selected mailboxes
Immediate response to system anomalies, warnings, and error messages, such as:
- Performing mitigating actions and error containment
- If described in operating instructions, executing further steps (e.g., communication, analysis, evaluation, resolution, escalation, activation of on-call services, ticket creation within the client's system and external provider systems, knowledge transfer to other parties, transport of system changes, etc.)
- Executing coordinated actions in the event of a security attack
- Ensuring transparency of the current state of the system landscape at all times
- Ensuring case-dependent knowledge transfer and involvement of other necessary parties and departments, such as Major Incident Management, Service Desk, Operations Organization, etc.
- Complete documentation of all activities performed in tools agreed upon with the client
Execution of routine tasks to ensure secure and stable IT operations, such as:
- Reviewing selected media appearances for messages that directly or indirectly affect the client
- Checking daily, monthly, and year-end processing of selected systems and executing them if necessary
- Reviewing own ticket queue in the client's service management tool and immediately processing incoming tickets
- Executing operating instructions
- Maintaining, organizing, modifying, and using the Operating Task Control, which orchestrates all routine activities of IT operations
- Actively supporting and contributing to planned technical and organizational measures (e.g., release weekends, maintenance weekends, task forces, restructuring) by implementing system changes
REQUIREMENTS- German language proficiency - C1/B2 level;
- English language proficiency - B2/C1 level;
- Willingness and ability to work in rotating shifts;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes;
- Ability to provide (or obtain) a certificate of good conduct, as the client operates in the financial sector.
- Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.
