Marketing Compliance Officer - German Speaking

The Role
This role is primarily responsible for delivery of compliant marketing communications created and managed across the Asset Management business in all the different market and jurisdictions where M&G Investments operates. This role will operate within the Asset Management Marketing Communications Compliance Team, part of M&G Investments' marketing function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage reviews and approvals of Marketing Communications and Financial promotions for Asset Management to ensure delivery of clear, consistent and appropriate communications to customers and stakeholders.
• Conduct quality assurance of the communications approved by Asset Management staff on a delegated basis ('Business Approvals') to ensure adherence to the 'Marketing Compliance Control Framework'.
• Develop wider financial promotions and marketing communications regulatory knowledge within a regulated environment, using your skills and business knowledge to apply sound judgement.
• Support the team in the delivery of ongoing continuous improvements to strengthen the control environment, drawing on creativity and digital agility to find opportunities to work in easier ways.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, using data and other sources of information to prompt ongoing improvements.
• Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes
• Work collaboratively with others, providing clear and actionable feedback to expedite the approval process.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Initial experience of working in a regulated environment ideally within asset management business (desirable). Previous experience in compliance and/or marketing will be a plus.
• Basic understanding of key compliance and legislative requirements around financial promotions, data, social media and communication standards.
• Excellent verbal, written and influencing skills - in person and remotely.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
• Fluency in another language, ideally German, will be a plus
• Relevant industry qualification in a related compliance or legal discipline - desirable.
