As a Master Production Scheduler based in Barcelona, you will be a key driver in ensuring smooth, reliable, and efficient production planning within our Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE) organization. You will add value by bringing analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive mindset to build and execute production schedules that keep our global supply chain moving. Essential Job Functions- Build, manage, and optimize the master production schedule, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts, inventory, operations, and production plans.
- Lead demand analysis, challenge forecasts using MAPE and BIAS insights, and facilitate monthly Demand SIOP meetings.
- Create and maintain SAP process orders and develop rolling 18-month production plans, adjusting as needed based on Supply SIOP outcomes.
- Resolve supply, demand, and capacity issues while optimizing labor and equipment utilization.
- Manage purchase requisitions, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely posting of goods and invoice receipts.
- Drive inventory optimization, including the reduction of aged and blocked stock and improvement of raw, semi-finished, and finished goods accuracy.
- Coordinate intercompany and internal plant shipments, ensuring accurate material flows and system signals.
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Production Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure alignment and effective communication across the value chain.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Advanced experience in supply chain, logistics, or production planning.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present data clearly to support continuous improvement.
- Business-fluent German (required) and strong English (preferred).
- APICS CPIM certification preferred.
- Demonstrated strengths in adaptability, collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and driving results.
