The Role & What You Will Be Doing

• Uses scientific expertise and medical knowledge to ensure appropriate review of promotional, regulatory, training and continuing medical education material in compliance with relevant SOPs/ regulations/ industry codes/ working practices
• Liaises with all commercial functions in the review for scientific/ medical accuracy prior to and through the medical review process as required
• Ensuring clear, factual, effective, and appropriately concise presentation of analyses and associated discussions in assigned documents
• Collaborating with other lines and relevant project team subject matter experts, ensuring the accuracy and quality of information presented in assigned documents
• Assists in generating and reviewing any additional support content, including proof reading, reviewing, referencing, and verifying anti-plagiarism of the content
• Delivers assigned documents on or before deadline, alerting project teams in a timely manner of any anticipated delays, information gaps or potential shortcomings in quality
• Conduct quality control assessments of assigned deliverables as required
• Keeps abreast of current literature, emerging science, publishing industry landscape and medical trends for enhancing publication metrics through internal process improvements
• Respond to medical enquiries received from both internal and external customers, in a timely manner to deadlines agreed with customers - may act as 2nd Line MI support for agreed countries
• Coordinate and escalate enquiries to GMI and local medical affairs when required to ensure timely and compliant responses
• Maintain appropriate records and logs of enquiries received and responses provided in line with company policies and procedures - may act as 2nd Line MI support for agreed countries

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Master's degree in Pharmaceutical or Medical Science is required
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English is required
• Experience or background in working within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
• Knowledge of compliance issues and guidelines around medical affairs is preferred
• Understanding of regulatory policies governing scientific interactions with HCPs and patients is preferred
• Experience with GxP requirements and reporting of adverse events with a general understanding of world-wide requirements for MI and PV is preferred
• Experience with data management (CRM/CMS platforms) and informatics/analytics is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
