Are you ready to be the go-to advisor for our Austrian team? We are looking for a Payroll, Time & Benefits Specialist who blends technical precision with a passion for supporting people. In this role, you'll ensure our People Practices work seamlessly for the business by managing the full scope of payroll, absence management, and benefits administration.
You won't just be maintaining data, you'll be an essential support to our employees and managers, providing advisory guidance rooted in a deep understanding of Austrian labor law, tax, and social insurance. The Opportunity:- Own and lead the complete P&C operational lifecycle for the Austrian market, ensuring flawless execution from payroll and tax to social insurance and local benefits administration.
- Manage the smooth, high-accuracy flow of data, orchestrating seamless integrations between Workday and external vendor systems. Ensure mass uploads are accurately reconciled.
- Serve as the primary, expert point of contact for employees and managers, resolving complex, end-to-end inquiries related to time, pay, and benefits with a strong focus on service.
- Apply deep expertise in local Austrian labor laws and absence policies to guarantee all processes adhere strictly to regional regulations and company standards.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to continuously improve service delivery and achieve ambitious ServiceNow OKRs.
- Collaborate effectively with global P&C Chapters and regional counterparts to ensure Austrian operational excellence aligns with the overarching global P&C strategy.
Who you are:- 1-3 years of experience in payroll and benefits, with deep knowledge of Austrian tax and social insurance regulations.
- Proficiency in Workday P&C processes and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups).
- Full professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
- A decisive, independent worker with high attention to detail and a customer-centric approach.
- Proven ability to navigate international matrix organizations and multicultural environments.
- Knowledge of additional payroll markets or an HR Generalist background is a plus!
