Procurement Project Specialist with German

We are currently seeking a Procurement Project Specialist with German to join Team in Bucharest Romania office. As a Procurement Project Specialist, you will have a strong understanding of project management activities, including the end to end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment. You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact projects that move the business forward. You will help your team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding the status and project of the project. This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model.

Main responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for selection of the best suppliers for commodities depending on the production's needs.
  • Open and perform selection procedures, evaluate and prepare contracts with selected suppliers.
  • Conduct suppliers' evaluation according to KPI's, risk, quality, price, supplies, logistic solution.
  • Make regular analyses of result and communicate with suppliers.
  • Cooperate with local buyers, ask for their feedback and carry out corrective actions. Solve escalation issues and follow-up corrective actions.
  • Maintain register of suppliers in SAP.
  • You will be responsible for correct set-up of order items in SAP and loading of acknowledgments to orders in SAP.
  • You will be responsible for payments to suppliers and for invoicing (trubble shooting)
  • In cooperation with Commodity Manager you will participate in formation of Annual Operational Plans and follow-up annual supply plan, is responsible for its accomplishment.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Manage supplier communication
  • Understand market trends
  • Ensure compliance with strategic procurement

Must have
  • Business or Engineering degree, graduate degree preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience (for manufacturing)
  • Advanced MS Office/Excel knowledge;
  • Advanced SAP experience desired
  • Analytical skills, logical thinking, ability to make sound business judgments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, teamwork
  • Fluent English and ideally good German
