Job TitleProject Manager Lead (German Speaker)
SummaryAs a Project Manager Lead, you will lead complex, international projects while acting as a trusted advisor to customers and senior stakeholders. You will ensure structured delivery through strong governance, clear communication, and adherence to Amadeus project management standards. The role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic oversight, continuous improvement, and team mentoring. German and English fluency are required.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multiple complex projects in parallel;
- Run Steering Committee meetings and clearly share status, risks, decisions, and recommendations with senior stakeholders;
- Create and maintain project plans, managing scope and change to stay aligned with business and customer needs;
- Manage day-to-day delivery and coordinate internal teams;
- Build trusted customer relationships, understand needs, and guide them to the right solutions;
- Communicate technical and business topics clearly to internal and external stakeholders;
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget;
- Apply the Amadeus project management methodology and enforce project standards across all project phases;
- Contribute to resource and budget planning and monitoring;
- Identify process improvements and act as a project management reference point, sharing knowledge and mentoring when relevant.
About the ideal candidate:- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously;
- Demonstrated expertise in customer-facing project roles, with a proven ability to assess client requirements and deliver clear, well-organized guidance, as well as communicate proficiently with senior stakeholders;
- Fluency in German and English;
- Solid technical understanding relevant to the project scope and domain;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred;
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as required.
