The opportunity

As Senior in Technology Risk , you will work on various technology risk and IT audit engagements in different industry sectors in which EY is acknowledged as a market leader, specifically: financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, industrial products, retail and consumer products, real estate, etc.

Your key responsibilities

As an Auditor you will contribute technically to Risk Assurance client projects and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will also identify potential business opportunities and risks within projects. In line with EY GDS commitment to quality, you will confirm that work is of high quality.

• Performing Effectiveness Testing over IT Application Controls, IT General Controls, Segregation of duties analysis
• Identifying internal control deficiencies and providing recommendations for improving the organization's operation, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
• Defining and performing Audit procedures to assess if any identified deficiencies in the application were exploited
• Performing IT testing for multiple applications (Database Security Audits, Process Automation, IT Asset Management, Software License Reviews and other)
• You will provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and participate in performing procedures especially focusing on complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues.

Skills and attributes for success

Technical skills requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master degrees in Computer Science / Telecom / Cybernetics; - nice to have
• Good technical knowledge of operating systems, databases, application servers and network devices
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations/ client business
• Knowledge of IT standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, and others)
• Ideally possesses one or more recognized IT certifications such as (CISA. CISM, CRISC, CISSP, TOGAF, CEH, OSCP)

• 2,5+ years' experience in IT and / or information security is nice to have

Soft skills requirements:

• Positive attitude and demonstrate willingness to learn;
• Excellent, proven communication skills both oral and in writing, in English
• Good command of German
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members;
• Creative thinking, problem solving orientation;
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy;
• Interest in the different fields of consultancy;

To qualify for this role, you should have significant experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least 3 of the following areas:

• IT general controls review
• Application controls review
• Cybersecurity review
• Infrastructure review
• Experience performing business process assessments
• Business continuity review
• IT governance review
• IT risk assessment and IT audit planning
