Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityWe have an opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join our Industrial Automation team in Katowice, Poland This position with Honeywell - Proposals & Estimation Team will be to provide necessary Sales Support / Estimation functions to front end Sales Offices and Account Managers globally for PMC - Process Measurement and Control line of business.
The reporting line would be directly to Estimating Supervisor. The candidate would coordinate with Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, other estimating/ Sales Support resources, and support on global estimating team.
This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model. Key Responsibilities: • Complete Ownership of Proposal Estimation Deliveries of the highest quality possible and continually seek out ways to improve the way we serve our customers.
• Leverage systems and tools like Salesforce, CPQ, SAP, sizing calc, etc....to accurately maintain estimating templates, responses, and supporting processes in the region, that demonstrate business benefits.
• Follow required workflow, coordinate & support the overall workload of Estimation with other team leaders globally. Support discount request form process and cost related information using SAP whenever required.
• Working with Procurement, Evaluate the Technical and Commercial Offers received from Third Party Vendors and Honeywell Business Units.
• Select the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, etc.... as well as the handling all TQs and responses that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives.
• Handles customer queries as required; provides customer assistance in tasks associated with sales process.
Key Requirements:• 5+years of experience in oil & gas/ industrial sales/ sales support / Proposal &estimation / Bid management.
• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal are mandatory (min. C1)
• BS or BA or BE degree - Preferred in: Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Oil & Gas, Technology (or equivalent knowledge/experience in the field)
• Knowledge of Field Instrumentation products like: Regulators, metering, Filters, Slam Shut valves, and Other solutions Oil & Gas market is preferable.
• Knowledge of Honeywell portfolio and competitor solutions and their offers
• Strong numerical aptitude and demonstrated proficiency with Excel
