Acting as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor to the MSP Lead, this position collaborates with the MSP Program Lead to maintain global consistency and share best practices. It supports regional CTS operations in six EMEA countries with an annual program spend exceeding 50M EUR and serves as an expert for Externals@Bayer (E@B), focusing on compliance verification of SmartBuy service orders. This hybrid role is based in EMEA, reporting to the Home Leader in Gdansk and the Global CTS Lead, with occasional travel.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities:CTS Operations:- Lead day-to-day regional operations with the MSP to deliver high service quality and stakeholder satisfaction; ensure process adherence and timely resolution of issues.
- Drive issue resolution for CTS for invoicing and payment issues and system bugs/errors.
- Serve as the regional escalation authority for CTS process matters, aligning decisions and outcomes with the MSP Lead for CTS where appropriate.
- Participate periodic supplier business reviews; drive action closure and performance improvement.
- Provide guidance to country teams, balancing local compliance needs with global standards; approve solution designs and oversee implementation quality.
- Support change management and adoption of CTS; design and execute communications and stakeholder engagement strategies with the MSP Lead for CTS.
- Identify and deliver regional/local optimization initiatives (process simplification, documentation improvements, supply base tuning, automation opportunities); measure impact.
- Serve as a liaison to Regional Business Units, HR, Procurement, AP, LPC, and other stakeholders.
- Advise and coach Requesting Managers on program adherence; address complex and high-impact scenarios decisively.
Externals@Bayer (E@B) Expert: - Act as the subject-matter expert for compliance verification of SmartBuy service orders, ensuring services are not misused to conceal hidden employment and that orders align with policy and regulatory expectations.
- Drive E@B Process Governance with support of Global CTS Head and Legal.
- Provide guidance to requestors on rules and regulations around working with Externals.
- Partner with Procurement and Legal to triage and resolve potential misclassification risks; implement preventive controls and educate stakeholders on correct service engagement practices.
- Provide operational support to the E@B team during peak volumes or complex escalations; contribute to playbooks, guidance, and training materials that reinforce compliant service procurement.
Who You Are: Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in talent, procurement, audit and/or law; experience operating VMS/MSP programs is a plus.
- Proven experience with SAP Fieldglass, MSP governance and VMS/MSP background is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong business analysis capability aligned to stakeholder strategies.
- Mindset over hard skills: familiarity with contingent workforce is a plus; we can teach the specifics to the right candidate with the right approach.
- Language: Excellent English; German at C1 level required for effective collaboration and compliance reviews; additional languages are a plus.
