About Us

Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is the intelligent platform for travel and spend management. Built to tackle the time-consuming, manual work that gets in the way of real work, our tools automate everything from travel bookings to expenses, invoice processing, and more. By eliminating this shadow work that wastes hours, erodes morale, and saps innovation, we're on a mission to power real work, with real impact.

We're trusted by more than 10,000 companies worldwide, including Wise, On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics, and we're tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem.

Founded in 2015, Perk has grown into a global company of more than 1,800 people across 12 offices globally, with headquarters in London and Boston. We combine innovation, control, and simplicity to transform how businesses work and how people feel at work.

At Perk, we're driven by our values, like being an owner, delivering a 7-star experience, and working as one team. We value curiosity, purpose, and mindset, not just knowledge, to unlock the power in your potential. Our talent team brings together leading minds from the travel and SaaS industries, representing over 70 countries. If you're excited about having a real impact and shaping how millions of people experience work, we'd love you on the team.

As an Inside Sales Development Representative for Perk Events, you will be the dedicated growth engine for our events and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) proposition, but entirely within our existing client base. Rather than chasing new logos, your mission is to deepen relationships, uncover untapped event potential, and convert existing Perk accounts into active, repeat-event buyers.

This is an ideal role for someone who understands the events landscape, knows how to ask the right questions, and thrives on building trusted-advisor relationships with procurement, EA, HR, and executive stakeholders within companies we already work with.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Development & Opportunity Identification
  • Conduct structured discovery conversations with existing Perk account contacts to uncover current events spend, upcoming programmes and unmet needs.
  • Map stakeholder landscapes within accounts, identifying who owns MICE and events budgets, who influences decisions and where Perk Events currently has no footprint.
  • Build and maintain an opportunity pipeline sourced entirely from existing Perk accounts, tracked in CRM (Salesforce) with accurate forecasting and data hygiene.
  • Proactively identify seasonal triggers (team off-sites, sales kick-offs, client entertainment, awards, product launches) and engage accounts ahead of planning cycles.

Events Proposition Selling
  • Articulate Perk Events value proposition and MICE capability - venue sourcing, event management, incentive travel, conferencing, etc. - clearly and convincingly to account stakeholders at all levels.
  • Qualify and brief events leads internally, ensuring a smooth handover to the Perk Events conversion team with full context on client requirements and expectations.
  • Position Perk Events as the natural home for an account's full events calendar, not just individual transactions.
  • Build genuine, multi-threaded relationships within accounts, going beyond the day-to-day contact to engage senior decision-makers and budget holders.
  • Act as the bridge between existing commercial account relationships and the events/MICE proposition, working closely with Account Managers to ensure joined-up client engagement.

Reporting & Commercial Contribution
  • Own and manage your pipeline in CRM, maintaining accurate stage progression, deal values and qualification
  • Report weekly on activity metrics, pipeline health and pipeline generation against target
  • Share market intelligence and client feedback with the wider Events and Commercial teams to inform product development and go-to-market strategy.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Demonstrable experience in a business development, account growth or sales role within the events SaaS space, corporate travel management company (TMC), events agency, or hospitality group.
  • A true hunter mentality - Proven track record of growing revenue within an existing account base through structured outbound prospecting initiatives, rather than waiting for inbound leads.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills - able to build rapport quickly, navigate complex organisations and influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication and video skills; fluent in English, written and spoken, to a professional business standard
  • Experience working in European and/or North American markets
  • Commercially minded with the ability to build and manage a pipeline, forecast accurately, and work to revenue targets.
  • Hungry and ambitious, yet ethical and considered in your approach
  • Able to perform as an individual contributor while remaining a collaborative and supportive team player
  • Customer-centric mindset - always focused on delivering value before extracting it
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and comfortable with pipeline reporting.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the applicable location

Desirable
  • Other languages desired: German, French are nice to have
  • Understanding of the MICE landscape - including incentive travel, corporate conferencing, venue sourcing, and event logistics.
  • Understanding of procurement cycles and how large organisations plan and budget for events.

The person who will thrive in this role will bring:
  • Curiosity: genuinely interested in understanding a client's business, not just selling to them.
  • Tenacity: persistent and organised in following up, without being pushy.
  • Collaboration: works closely with Account Management, the wider Perk Events team (sales and builders) and Marketing; does not operate in isolation.
  • Accountability: owns their pipeline and results; doesn't wait to be chased.
  • Commercial instinct: spots opportunities others might miss and moves quickly to qualify and develop them.

What we offer
  • Receive competitive compensation alongside additional variable comp and equity ownership in Perk
  • Rest and recharge with our generous allocation of vacation days plus public holidays
  • Take control of your physical health with your choice of private healthcare or a gym allowance
  • Know that your loved ones are protected financially through your Life Insurance if the worst were to happen
  • Join our unforgettable Perk events, including our spectacular annual summer party
  • Always feel supported with Spring Health, our market-leading wellbeing partner, providing fast, comprehensive access to 12x therapy and 12x coaching sessions for you and your loved ones
  • Make your money go further with our flexible compensation plan
  • Focus on your family with 17 weeks' paid parental leave during your child's first year
  • Contribute to your community with 16 paid hours per year to spend volunteering for your dearest charitable causes
  • Broaden your horizons with up to 20 "Work from Anywhere" days per year
  • Nurture your language skills with in real-life English, Spanish and Catalan lessons
  • Follow your passions and take a four-week, fully paid sabbatical once you reach 5 years
  • Let us help you move to one of our hubs with relocation support
Interview Process

Our process is designed to be transparent and efficient, helping you showcase your strengths while gaining a genuine understanding of our culture.
  1. Introduction call with the Talent Partner to discuss your background and motivations.
  2. 60-minute sourcing assignment: You'll prepare a brief outreach example to share with the Hiring Managers to explore your approach.
  3. 30-minute Values interview with a member of our team focused on collaboration, adaptability, and alignment with Perk's culture.

How We Work

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.

For certain roles, we can help with relocation from anywhere in the world, English is the official language at the office. Please submit your resume in English if you choose to apply. Do not forget to submit an updated portfolio and/or resume.

Perk is a global company with a diverse customer base, and we want to make sure the people behind our product reflect that. We're an equal opportunity employer, which means you're welcome at Perk regardless of how you look, where you're from, or anything else that makes you, well, you.

Protect Yourself from Recruitment Scams

All official communication from Perk will always come from email addresses ending in @perk.com or @externalperk.com, our verified social media channels, or recruiters listed on our official LinkedIn page. We will never ask you to pay for equipment, training, or fees, request sensitive personal information such as bank details early in the process, or communicate through unofficial apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal. If you receive a message claiming to be from Perk that seems suspicious, please do not respond. Forward it to security [at] perk .com, and we will confirm whether it is legitimate.
