Senior SAP ABAP Developer - with Advanced German skills

About role:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ABAP/Fiori development and German B2+/C1/native language skills. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the design, development, and enhancement of customized SAP solutions and Fiori applications aimed at meeting business objectives. You will work in close collaboration with Banking functional teams to develop efficient and scalable SAP applications, predominantly within SAP S/4HANA environments.

We're planning to establish an AMS hub in Warsaw/Krakow, creating exciting opportunities for growth and collaboration. At that stage, on-site, shift-based work will be introduced to support global operations-so adaptability and a forward-thinking mindset will be key.

Requirements

Expectations and tasks:

• Develop and enhance custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE or Business Application Studio.
• Create and consume OData services for seamless integration between SAP backend and Fiori frontend.
• Customize and extend standard Fiori apps to meet business requirements.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with SAP Banking functional consultants and business users for requirement gathering and solution design.
• Follow SAP best practices for development and code quality.
• Support SAP system upgrades, patching, and enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer when required

Technical Skills:

• Preferably have 4 to 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP programming
• Core-ABAP, ODATA, OOABAP and ABAP on HANA Dialog programming, RFC, IDocs
• Development and consumption of OData Services and working knowledge of SAP Gateway.
• Understanding of CDS Views, annotations, and their use in Fiori apps.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development (nice to have)
• SAPUI5 framework, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON
• SAP Web IDE / Business Application Studio, VSCode, Node JS
• Knowledge on enhance the CDS views to add features to the existing application and POCs
• Knowledge on activation of Standard Fiori apps.
• Exposure on UI5 & CDS view extensions.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Advanced proficiency in German, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
