Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working for international clients. By cooperating closely with software designers, developers, testers and other specialists you will be able to develop your technical software testing skills and build a better working world.

Your key responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the test processes at the production team level.
• Leading testers to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of effective testing practices.
• Collaborating with stakeholders throughout all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from approach to risk management, to achieve project and client objectives.
• Completing assigned tasks on time and providing regular status updates.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience and willingness to lead test efforts going beyond test automation tasks
• Fluency in German (minimum B2+ level) for effective communication
• 3-7 years' experience in Test Automation
• Proven experience in building and managing test automation frameworks from scratch (design test automation architecture)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD)
• Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Rest Assured etc.)
• Good programming knowledge in C#, Java or python
• Experience with database concepts and query languages (SQL, NoSQL)
• Experience with integrating test automation code with test management tools
• Ability to guide and support other test automation engineers
• English skill enabling to communicate in teams distributed across the world (B2+)
• Ability to occasionally travel to the client's location

Ideally, you'll also have

• ISTQB Foundation
• Experience in Financial or Insurance industry
• Experience with managing test and testy management tools (Azure DevOps, jira, CI/CD, TDD, BDD)
