Job descriptionIn this position, your role is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws
- Prepare, review, and file tax returns for globally mobile employees in compliance with deadlines and regulations.
- Advise on international tax planning, including tax treaties, assignment structures, and tax-efficient benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll tax and social security reporting.
- Educate employees on tax responsibilities, international assignment implications, and policies like tax equalization.
- Analyze compensation and payroll data to calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits or savings.
- Maintain accurate tax records and prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax optimization.
- Stay updated on international tax laws and conduct research on country-specific tax issues.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing trip assessments for business travelers.
- Support financial management of engagements, including billing, tracking KPIs, and identifying growth opportunities.
Requirements- German language proficiency at B2 level and English at a minimum of B1 level, both spoken and written.
- Responsibility for assigned tasks and timeliness in delivering work.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Openness to international collaboration.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and MS Office tools will be an additional asset.
