The Position

As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you lead a team of EMEA Talent Acquisition Partners in the People Support Solutions (PSS) organization. You are part of the Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter and together with your team you provide services and support in the area of Recruiting and Talent Acquisition. Your activities uphold Roche's reputation as an attractive employer - today and going forward.

The Opportunity:

• Coaching team members regarding their individual development and career plan, being responsible for the team's compensation management, including yearly bonus distribution and salary increase
• Owning all employment decisions for the team including resource planning, hiring, training, development, performance management and disciplinary actions; building an engaging culture to both attract and retain top talent
• Ensuring full ownership and leadership of incoming requests, prioritization and solution implementation, acting as an escalation point for related topics
• Being a trusted partner and leading others through complex Talent Acquisition/Leadership topics by understanding the philosophies, approaches, global policies and systems
• Leading and facilitating people processes in line with Roche Leadership commitments, People Practices and policies, ensuring that ongoing dialog occurs on the topics of Career, Capabilities, Connections and Contributions
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction through understanding of business requirements and providing high quality and end-to-end solutions with a sense of urgency
• Collaborating with peers and stakeholders within region and globally to ensure the achievement of our overall recruiting strategy and vision
• Participating in work product teams and projects, making impactful contributions to global or regional initiatives.

Who you are:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable People & Culture professional, someone who is self motivated, really passionate about their job and understands that providing a high-quality service is essential for the organization. As an ideal Team Leader you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development. Furthermore, you have:

• 3+ years people leadership experience
• 5+ years of experience and strong understanding/knowledge in the field of Recruiting, Sourcing and Pipeline Building
• Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills, ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders
• Ability and experience in effectively diagnosing needs, and offering fit for purpose solutions to address them
• Strong drive, project management and process improvement experience
• Proficiency in English and German.
