Overview: This role supports Global Spend Management (GSM) operations across multiple regions, focusing on spend analysis, supplier performance, and procurement processes. The position plays a key role in driving cost savings, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and improving operational efficiency. Candidates will work across global systems and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Fluency in German and English is required.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze global spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance gaps
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track KPIs and supplier performance using tools such as Excel and PowerBI
- Support supplier onboarding, performance monitoring, and ongoing supplier management activities
- Manage procurement transactions including PR, PO, receipts, and contract data within systems such as SAP, Ariba, and Oracle
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements across regions
- Provide support for sourcing activities, including e-sourcing and RFI/RFP processes
- Coordinate with stakeholders including suppliers, finance teams, and procurement managers to resolve queries and escalations
- Monitor and maintain data quality within procurement systems, including contract workspaces and supplier records
- Support invoice reconciliation activities, including PO updates, closures, and issue resolution
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and streamline workflows
Additional Responsibilities: - Support ServiceNow, Saviynt, and ERP-related tickets and system activities
- Assist with supplier changes, approvals, and deactivations in line with policy requirements
- Provide audit support and maintain accurate documentation for compliance reviews
- Manage reporting activities such as parked invoices, P-card audits, and quarterly reviews
- Deliver regional procurement support across EMEA and global teams as required
Qualifications: - Fluency in German and English (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Experience with procurement platforms such as Ariba is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across global teams
- Procurement or supply chain experience is desirable but not required; training will be provided
